I am aware of manifold continuing growth and development of Jaipur Occupational Therapy College, Jaipur under the able control and dynamic leadership of Dr S.K. Meena with esteemed cooperation from management of the college, in past 6 years since the college was incepted.
I had opportunity to visit and inspect the college in the year 2008 for its accreditation with All India Occupational Therapy Association (AIOTA) and World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT).
It was my pleasure to recommend accreditation and I am honored to note that after its affiliation with WFOT and AIOTA the Jaipur Occupational Therapy College in collaboration with Rajasthan Branch of AIOTA has very successfully organized AIOTA’s 46th Annual National Conference in Jan. 2009 and also arranged many COTE’s to update Occupational Therapists’ with recent advancements and current trends in Occupational Therapy Practice. International Occupational Therapy Day celebration in Oct 2009 by college in association with Rajasthan Branch to draw attention to Occupational Therapy its services and the need for wellness was appreciated by all including WFOT. The wholehearted efforts and contribution from Dr. S.K. Meena and his team of dedicated OT’s in cooperating AIOTA in formation of Central Council of OT is praiseworthy. I am also aware that Jaipur College of OT and the Rajasthan Branch of AIOTA are striving hard in Govt. Sector for setting up Rajasthan State Council for OT and many other activities for growth of OT profession in the State of Rajasthan.
I wish the Jaipur College of OT, Dr. S.K. Meena and his dedicated team, every success in all of their professional and academic activities and assure them for my full cooperation as and when required.
